Wayne Besen’s ‘Spy’ Mission Uncovers Christian Kindness at ‘The Awakening 2010′

Wayne Besen, extremist homosexual blogger and “ex-gay denier” (as Matt Barber calls those who shun the existence of the untold thousands of former homosexuals) has pulled off the granddaddy of all homosexualist spy missions. Having apparently dyed his hair, growing several days worth of scruff, dawning shabby clothing and sporting a backpack to appear as a Liberty University Student, Besen infiltrated the Awakening 2010 conference at Liberty University held this past Thursday and Friday [April 15-16].

But what he found was something different.

But his report on the conference is a little skewed but to be expected.

But how else as Christians should we behave? Paul said in Romans 8:37-39 “…in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

So what does this mean for us? Marsha West stated According to the Bible, principalities and powers (demons) are under the power of Satan. (Mat. 12:24) Evil spirits have the ability to possess and control those who are unsaved. (Mat. 8:28-34) Evil spirits can cause sickness (Mat. 12:22); insanity (Luke 8:26-36); bodily injury (Mark 9:14-26); long term infirmities (Luke 13:11-13). Yes, Satan and his demons have been given certain powers, but as John MacArthur points out, “Satan is a servant of God and can only work within the perimeters that God defines…”

Wayne Besen through his actions and his deeds doubts the existance of evil and as well the actions of good Christian men and women as well as the existance of God. How else could he justify his words.

"Freedom" like life is fragile and delicate and can be ended without warning or fanfare or gradually like the sands of time.
